The You Festival is a warm and enlivening gathering of TA (Transactional Analysis) practitioners, students, and enthusiasts. Less structured than a conference and more intentional than a casual meet-up, the festival is designed to invite thought leadership in TA by encouraging culturally rooted studies, experimentation and contextually relevant applications, so that the theory continues to grow from the lived realities of the communities that practise it.

Knowing ourselves is easier said than done. We want to do it but we put it off. Or we deny that we need to do anything more, even though we believe everyone around us needs to know themselves better. We shy away from this because it includes examining vulnerabilities that are painful. It often requires recovering a past that we had forgotten, perhaps by design. What makes it even more tricky is that we unconsciously avoid shining light on what may challenge the notions of how we see ourselves consciously.
However, it is worth the effort. It is only when we know who we are that we can make decisions that are good for us. We can show up as ourselves and take our space in the world. We experience deeper connectedness with others, enjoy our own company, find meaning in work and leisure, and overall experience more fulfilled lives.
Wonderland with its nonsensical rules and shifting realities presents a perfect metaphor for exploring our unconscious mind. We invite you to, like Alice, engage in a bit of nosing here, a bit there, follow a side path, engage with fantastical creatures to more fully meet yourselves.
What we do
At The School of You, the most important subject is, quite simply, you. Our purpose is to create transformative spaces for personal exploration and growth through deeply engaging and creatively designed workshops.
We cater to two distinct groups:
- Practitioners: Professionals dedicated to helping others make meaningful changes in their lives
- Seekers: Individuals seeking personal growth and self-discovery
Practitioners
The School of You offers a structured approach to learning, with a primary focus on Transactional Analysis (TA). As a leader in TA training, we provide comprehensive, long-term programs for therapists, coaches, educators, consultants and organizational leaders, equipping them with the skills needed to facilitate profound work with individuals and groups.
Our short-term courses introduce experiential methods, including psychodrama, theatre, art, and storytelling, enriching practitioners’ tools for meaningful engagement.
Seekers
Our creatively designed workshops provide a compassionate space for deep exploration. These sessions encourage participants to make sense of their journeys, embrace vulnerability, and reconnect with forgotten parts of themselves.
Our workshops are informed by theories and methods from Transactional Analysis, psychodrama, systemic theory and attachment theory. We are especially passionate about the intersection of autobiographical storytelling, myth and healing to drive both personal and cultural change
