TA-101
TA 101 is an internationally recognized 2-day introductory course in Transactional Analysis. The course provides an introduction to the main theoretical ideas of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory of personality, and a systematic approach for the growth of individuals and organisations.
Transactional Analysis was created by Eric Berne in the 1960s, to educate individuals in the simplest, clearest language possible what was going on inside of them and why they were interacting with others the way they did, what unhealthy repeating patterns they got into and what they could do to change.
The purpose was to allow masses to safeguard their mental health, achieve a sense of well-being and live up to their potential.
The concepts covered in the workshop include
Ego States
How our personalities are structured
Transactions
How we communicate consciously and unconsciously
Strokes
What our psychological hungers are and how we can satisfy them
Life Script
How we develop our life stories and how they play out over a life time
Games
How are why we repeat unconscious patterns in relationships
Autonomy
How we can reclaim our capacity for awareness, intimacy and spontaneity
It helps people answer questions such as
“How did I become who I am?”
“Why do I sometimes act in ways that hurt me?”
“What is my formula to survive in this world, and is it working for me?”
TA 101 is for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in personal exploration and find language to describe their inner world. It is particularly useful for those who work with people deeply – engaging their motivation, helping them grow or influencing them.
Participants will be awarded a TA 101 participation certificate from ITAA (International Transactional Analysis Association). This certificate is a pre-requisite for those who wish to go on to study TA at an advanced level and is recognised the world over.
Fee : Early bird rate of ₹.15499/- (all inclusive) before Dec 15, Regular rate of ₹.17999/- (all inclusive) from Dec 15 onwards
Where it can lead
At The School of You, the next stage of TA training is Reimagine You, a 12-day programme that runs over eight months. After Reimagine You, participants can go on to train as practitioners in one of two fields: psychotherapy (new batch starting Feb of every year) or organisational development (new batch starting in October).
