What we can gain by considering the essence of a person alongside how the environment has shaped them.

Transactional analysis’s models offer sophisticated ways to explore how the environment and a person’s attachments and relationships have impacted the development of their personality. We have become expert at considering the relational space between us and our client in understanding their past.

It is interesting and important to account for the aspects of a person and their experience that might be missed when we do this. All theory has consequences and biases. I believe TA theories have been largely blind to how we account for the person we are born as and how that impacts the development of our personality.

Our gender, our sexuality, our neurotype; these are all essential aspects of who we are that we understand from our internal experience of our core organismic self. It is my contention that our ego states grow in relation to not only the people around us, but also the person we are within ourselves.

This workshop will introduce these ideas and explore how they can enrich our practice as psychotherapists. While the focus is on psychotherapy, those training in related fields are welcome to join with this awareness. The session is best suited for participants who have completed at least 100 hours of TA training.

Fee: Early Bird Rs 850/- (till September 30th) and;
        Regular rate Rs. 1060/- (from October 1st onwards)

Through hands-on practice, guided reflection, and practical skill-building, you’ll learn to hold space with presence, navigate group dynamics with confidence, and foster circles where people feel seen, heard, and less alone.
