Program Description
This workshop invites you to examine the narrative you carry about your childhood and explore how it shapes the patterns you experience today. We’ll focus deeply on your early years, particularly your relationships with parents, uncovering how these foundational experiences have influenced your life story.
Together, we’ll look at the ways you made meaning of what happened to you as a child. We’ll evaluate how this story serves you today .
Pre-Work: Writing Your Life Story
You will in this month, write the story of your childhood in 2000 words!
We’ll provide 40 prompts to guide you, with each question answered in no more than 50 words. Respond to each prompt fluidly and naturally. Once you respond to a prompt, the next one will appear. Write regularly, aiming to complete 10 prompts each week. The entire workshop is built on the stories you write and share. If the writing is incomplete, you will have nothing to work with during the sessions.
When writing, allow yourself to dip into your memories and examine the meaning you’ve made of them. Don’t overthink; simply let the stories emerge. Step into your vulnerability. Every emotion is welcome here.
On the first day of the workshop, you’ll bring this work to life by reading your answers and sharing your story in the small group. Join us to connect with your story, reflect on its impact, and envision a bold new chapter for your life.
