Ish and Others – Using Stories to Help Children Celebrate Who They Are

A Workshop for Parents with children having reading ages 3-6 years
In today’s fast-paced world, children need space to feel, wonder, and be their whole selves. This workshop invites you to turn shared reading into a daily ritual of connection—helping your child feel safe, understood, and joyful in their uniqueness.
What You’ll Experience
This experiential session puts you in your child’s shoes. Through three beautifully chosen books, you’ll read, reflect, and play—then take home everything you need to recreate these moments of magic and meaning at home.
You’ll learn to:
Spark open, honest conversations about difference, failure, and self-worth using books like Ish
Ask powerful questions that help your child feel truly heard
Design story-based rituals and playful practices that build self-esteem
Celebrate your child’s uniqueness, every single day
You’ll take back a curated reading list of age-appropriate gems
